ballistics of 243 100 grain at 25 meters - help
« on: March 20, 2005, 11:43:26 AM »
If a .243 (100 grain bullets) is sighted in to zero at 100meters what is the fall at 25 meters? I believe that at 50 meters it should be -0.2 inches.

It depends on how high above the bore the scope is mounted, but right on or just below point of aim should be real close at that range. The bullet's trajectory crosses the line of sight somewhere around 25yds/meters in most firearms when sighted in at 100yds/meters.
