10 mm favorite loads
« on: March 14, 2005, 05:05:08 PM »
I just recieved my 14" 10mm today and I am looking to make some loads.  I plan on shooting it this weekend with my Glock loads, but want to start making some loads that can be utilized to their maximum advantage in a contender barrel.  I have the t/c load manual, but would like to get a head start with anyone already having done some of the experimenting.

Thanks,
Joe

your Glock loads seem like a good start..realize that with the 14" barrel you will see much higher bullet velocity!  Just pick the one that shots well in your barrel and go from there.

10 MM and a stroll through history

1991 or 1992 Guns and Ammo yearly annual had some great articles on reloading the 10MM. I have one packed away in the attic and not willing to go in that dark place tonight. See if you can find the annual or the article , it was great and the loads quoted shot just as well out of my 10MM revolver as the article by Terry Murbaugh (spelling) claimed they did in the article.
