I have the older Pact verson of the same unit - I love mine.
They are a breeze to set up:
1)Plug them in and let them sit for a few mintues to warm up,
2)Tell the scale to recognize the dispenser (3 presses of a button),
3)Pour in the powder you want to load with,
4)Hit the Calibrate button and it will start dispensing about 150 gr of powder to learn how to drop it accurately - a 4 to 5 min process,
5) Punch in the load you want to dispense (say 6.3gr),
6) Press dispense and in a miunute or less (depending on the size cartridge) you have a measured load waiting to be poured into a case.
The thing is slower than using a traditional powder thrower, but it is more accurate too. And if you are currently measuring all of your loads on a beam scale - this unit IS faster and easier.
But like any electronic scale, it's sensitive to air currents so loading around a fan or wind can be quite frustrating.
Also, I've heard that you will have less trouble with the scale maintaining calibration if you use a computer-type power strip rather than just plugging it into the wall. I can't say yea or nea to that, because I've always used a strip and have never had such a problem.
