I believe my composite Benelli SBE already has that---it's the "mud hen" powder coat.  

In '03  I saw in a waterfowl catalog, possibly Herters  that had a decoy jump suit coverall that made the wearer look like a giant Canada, complete with white patches for the head and tail.  Guess so one wouldn't look out of place while moving around in their spread and a flock comes in.

At least it doesn't get boring in the outdoor marketing departments.

You're right, Grizzly. I can see such kitsch being applied to some Wal-mart class reel, but Abels are among the best made reels. It's a shame to see one pre-vandalized at the factory like that. It's kinda like painting the statue of David.

:cb2: Remember the funky blue color guns that Taurus came out with several years ago? I can see them doing this kind of thing to handguns for the pimp market. Tiger stripes, leopard prints, etc., etc., etc. It would sell in my town.
