So if theyre doing an investigation into a rapist they should be able to make every male submit to DNA testing?

No...But they should be able to test the male's that come close to the description provided by the accuser.

If they have a girl they suspect had an abortion done underage they need only look at her records.  That I believe is the issue here

And press for the "male" involved for rape charges.
"I have the duty to investigate and prosecute child rape and other crimes in order to protect Kansas children.''

Better think this one through. If there is enough of  description to narrow the field to five men, DNA testing is reasonable. ten men and we can argue about it, a hundred men and the answer is no, a thousand men and the answer is hell, no! You have to balance what you hope to accomplish against who you will hurt to do it. Personally, ain't nobody getting a sample from me without a court order or a fight.

btw, there is no such thing as girl who has an abortion underage. There is no age limit on abortion.  If someone knows of a girl who has aborted while very young, he does not need any medical records, he can go and talk to her directly.  Take a lot meaner man than me to do that, though.

A 1000 MEN? BOY THATS WHAT I CALL POPULAR

Do you miss his point?

They are asking to look at what may amount to 1000 womens private lives because there MIGHT have been a law broken.

How can you justify this & still believe in any form of privacy?
I realize that abortion is something you dissagree with.

Theres alot of people out there who disagree with our right to keep & bear arms. Heck theres people out there that think guns are worse than abortions. Does that mean that our rights are unimportant?
These people think the country would be safer if we didnt have guns.
Would you accept the DA barging into your house because you MIGHT have a gun your not supposed to?

This whole arguement is pretty silly.

Think about whats really happening here, not what MIGHT have happened but what is.

LEVERDUDE. I'm sorry I took so long to look up the Bible quote I tried to think of earlier, here it is.
JEREMIAH. 1st chapter, verse 5. Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. God was speaking to Jeremiah. I hope this answers your question, from this I believe that life begins at conception. POWDERMAN.  :D  :D  :D  :D

Powderman,

No apology necessary, I think we've all got lives beyond these computers & certainly apreciate your taking the time to find the quote.
My only question (I havent looked up the passage yet) is was God speaking of Jerimiah in perticular as the way I read it in the post he took perticular interest in Jerimiah & brought him forth as a prophet. It also says "Before I formed thee in the belly" giving me the impresion that Jerimiah was destined to be what he was even before actual conception happened. I hope this doesn't come across wrong as I'm certainly not trying to pick it apart but trying to be sure I have a firm grasp on what God was trying to communicate.

Although it may be hard for you & others to relate to, Religiously, acording to the morals & beliefs I was raised by abortion is a sin & not something I aprove of.

That aside, as I have said earlier &  somebody in another thread said better than I could, these are MY beliefs & even if I find that I accept the idea that God sees conception as the begining of life I wont presume to hold others to my beliefs & morals. Just as I wouldnt allow their beliefs & morals to corrupt my life.  :-)

Jesus said not to judge others lest you be judged & to me this is an important bit of wisdom.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone also comes to mind.

Lemme go now & see what my bible says.   :D

LEVERDUDE. In the text, God was indeed referring to Jeremiah. I belive that what God told Jeremiah also applies to all mankind. I don't see you as picking anything apart, just asking serious questions about things you want to fully understand. I'm sure not everybody sees what I do, or agrees with me fully, this is just my opinion. POWDERMAN.  :D  :D

There are several other scriptures as well which indicate that God knew us before we were created.   I personally conlude that the soul is eternal.  If it's "eternal" then that works both ways - forward and backward in time. I'd look up and post those other scriptures for you, but that would take all the fun out of it.  *smiles*

Talking would not hold up in a court of law for a conviction. Some form of  positive proof would be needed for a conviction and the only way would be for medical records (which is physical evidence) plus witnesses.

underage sex and illegal late-term abortions

They are looking for positive proof that there have been young girls having sex as well as women aborting past the point in which the law says you can, which in the eyes of the law is murder, and it would appear that there is enough evidence to acquire these records for the proof needed to correct or punish the wrong-doers that are involved.
