Knight Disc #11 adapter

I have a terrible time with the ' crud ring ' problem in my .45 cal disc. Does any one use the percussion cap adapter in a disc rifle .Do you have good performance with it ( accacury , dependability in all weather conditions less crud ring etc. ) I have seen the pistol primer adapter that is being made for other models and it is noted to inprove accacury and help with the crud ring problem. I have read all the threads about the 209 primer being too hot . I have not tried the adapter in my gun yet . One came with my rifle and they can be purchased from knight   thanks!

Truckie,

I had a really bad crud ring in my TC Omega.  I switched to Black Mag 3 powder and it went away.  In fact it is much easier to clean and the breech plugs comes out easy.  It is hard to find and expensive but I'm not going back to 777.  I'm still using 209's

Right on Bean Man. I switched to Black Mag'3 in my Omega which was so bad with Tripple Seven I considered going back to real black powder. Since using the Black Mag'3 I now love the Omega and as you stated clean up is easy and multiple shots without swab between is possible.
