i just bought a new marlin 7000 and scope and cant find any ammo that will shoot good through it i havent tried cci blazers yet my buddy says they will shoot pretty good. the winchester super x shot good but the price is to high. can the cci blazers kill something a big as a crow or ground hog at as much as 100 yards. and where can i get some. thanks.

I'v got a brick of the blazzers they cost me $9.Their cheap bulk ammo but shoot ok in my 7000,I use them for plinking and sighting in.Their the best bulk stuff I have found(consistant groups)because of group size I wont shoot anything with them over 40 to 50 yards,they may group better in yours.My gun shoots Winchester power points and Federal game shoks hollow points the best(for hunting).CCI blazzers should kill a Ground Hog to 40 to 50 if hit in the vitals heart or lung.I v killed them with CCI mini mags to the heart lung area.If you need more range than that I would suggest CCI Velositors.If you can hold a 2 inch group at 50 Yards you should be able to get the Ground Hog,but you'll miss a lot of Squirrels.

I shoot 'el cheapo' federal, I think 550 rnds for 8 or 9 bucks and shoots very well. I use mine for squirrel hunting which opens on August first here :lol:

august 1 here to, i'm from illinios. which federal do you shoot the value pack or the buld champions my 7000 does not shoot the value 550 very well i havent tried champions.

I shoot the value pack federal. I generally get 1-1½" groups at 50 yards, bench rest. Seeing this is just my squirrel rifle that is more than sufficient.
