Hi guys,I'm hoping my deal goes through and i will be the proud owner of a as new low wall in 243.
Anybody out there have one?
Hows it shoot?
Favorite load?
Older cataloge say's its weight is 6 pounds and 4 oz,are they telling the truth?I've had some rifles that were supposed to weigh7 but actually were 71/2 or more.
So what ya all think of the Browning Low wall?
Shoot straight and shoot often.

Yup I gotz onna them. Shore is one fine riflegun. Even talked my friend Barry in PA into getting one and his seems to shoot just about like mine.

Weight? Yeah a tad over six pounds sounds about right. Finest looking and feeling rifle you'll ever lay hands on. Ya jist ain't gonna wanna put it down.

I have way too many favorite loads for mine to list here. If you really want them after you get it e-mail or PM me and I'll look them up for you. For the most part mine will keep a whole buncha loads into groups of 0.4" to 0.8" at 100 yards. Ya hafta look hard to find a load that goes over an inch in it.

I have loads with the Nosler 90 BT (that's the one I've been whupping butt wid at the SSRF annual shoots) and the Hornady 65 V-MAX that like to stay around 0.5" or less most of the time.

If you get it you will like it.

Norther Hunter
Don't own one myself but my brother has one in .260 Remington.
Not only is the little rifle beautiful, it shoots factory ammo in less than one inch groups at 100 yds.
hope you get yours, you gonna like it

Guest. If you are in the US you might want to check on Guns America. They had one last week when I looked listed. Don't recall the price right off. Pretty sure under $1000. They are so hard to find that you'll pay what the seller wants or you won't get it. That's the way it is these days on them.

Heck Jim it don't take a very computer literate person to register. Iffen it did none of this crew would be registered.  :-D

Just click on the REGISTER icon at the top right of the screen when you first log on to the site. Put down that name you want, your e-mail address so we can send you your password if you forget it.    Select a REAL SIMPLE password you won't forget. Tell it to submit at the bottom and you'll be registered.

Than when you come back to the site LOG IN. Do that by clicking on the LOG IN Icon rat below the Register icon. Enter your screen name EXACTLY as you did when you registered. Enter your pass word and tell it to log you in. Then when you post we'll know who ya are rather than just some guest asking another question. Heck we dunno is you're the same guest even unless ya do like old Dubicus and use a name we can relate to.
