95% of my loads I use W296, it is comparable to H110. But when I shoot my big 575 gr. pills I use Lil-gun.  :D

I load Win.-296 in all of my mag. handgun ammo. Everything from .357 to .500. It seem to give you the most velosity for the least presure. I have alway had real good luck with it as far as accuracy is conserned also. H-110 is about the same thing, but I can get the 296 cheaper most of the time. I but it in 8 lb. jugs and usually burn one in a year or less, so I have used quite a bit of it.

H110

H110

H110

H110

Did I mention H110 ?

Win 296 works good too.

For less than full-house loads? I don't know; as I see NO NEED for them.
Go MAGNUM/MAX LOAD or GO HOME !
Always use MUCH more gun than the minimum required to do the job.

Like Catfish has said, I can get W296 for less than I can get H110 and they are just about the same thing.   :D

I use AA4100 and am going to try W296. I have heard some good things about W296. My 270 gr loads I've beem using No.9 powder but at 150yds they go all over the place, I hope W296 will streighten this problem out. My 400 and 500 gr loads I have no problem with AA4100.

37 grns. Lil gun under a 400 gr. Sierra JSP seems to work real good. I can't believe how accurate this thing is, it seems to hit everything you aim it at! Must be the porting or something. :D

My current favorite is WC-680 a surplus version of AA1680.  40.0 grains pushing a 440 grain WFN @ 1650 fps. is a superbly accurate load in my Encore barrel.  One of the nice things about this powder in the .500 is that it may be impossible to over load the case.  Kind of like LilGun in the hornet.

I've been using  lil'gun and h110 I've been liking the lil gun more and more it burns cleaner then h110. I've been using hodgon loading data off their website and well not to impressed with their data granted I'm using the 8 3/8 barrel rather then a 10 inch but my loads are chronoing about 200 to 250 fps below what they list. groups wise I really can't find a difference between  lil gun and h110
