vaquero question
« on: February 22, 2003, 11:20:14 AM »
:D  :D  today i found something rather unique and just had to have it , its a standard vaquero except that it weres a black hawk  grip frame with a square back trigger guard and a wide hammer spur, and a trigger curved toward the front of the trigger guard, similar to a star revolver double action revolver,  this thing is awsome and handles beutiful and the grip frame is longer and a lot more comfertable my question is , is this thing a coustom potion from ruger or did, someone else spend alot of money to make aterations, on rugers web site i could not find any custom shop number or a site some help please.

I'm not expert but I believe you are looking at an owner modification.  Don't think Ruger did this unless it was a custom job.
