38 Special non + P recommendations

I have a DA38 from American Derringer. Its not rated for plus P 38 Specials, so I am looking for the best non + P to use

On several different forums I've seen reference to SafeStop .38 loads. From what I gather they are sharpedged full wadcutters. They come in standard & +P loads. You could probably do a search on Google for them. If I run across a URL for them later I'll post it here for you.

CCI lawman 158 gr semi-wadcutter hollow point.
Or NYCLAD 125 gr hollowpoint. Best two
factory rounds for a .38 Spl. on the market as
far as I'm concerned. I stay away from jacketed
rounds in anything under about 1000 fps.

IIRC Federal has discontinued the Nyclad line of bullets. Which I think is a shame because my Taurus 85CH shot them very well.
