rechambering savage 24 in 3030 to 3030 ackely improved

Hi
I wonder if it is possible or safe to rechamber  Savage-24 30-30/12 to accept 3030 ackley improved round. the action is locked with only one under barrel lock which seems not so strong. if you have done it or know about this conversion, please tell me about it.
