Just caught the tail end of the news and with sadness the Pope has passed on to the big Pulpit in the sky.

did a hell of a lot for mankind and his church, now I believe they will choose a Italian Pope that will bring the Church down.

As much as I respected this Pope I really would hope we could get a Pope with some more realistic veiws of todays world. Like Married Priest for instance it would fix the priest shortage and priest used to be married in the early days of the Church until the Pope that changed the ruling on that. You got to admit a divorced priest would be a lot less scandaless than the child molesting cases going on today.

Didn't he die yesterday too?

There's only been one other guy who died and came back to life.

But the first guy didn't die again.

Maybe JPII didn't do it right the first time... :?
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

What?  It's not every day that somebody dies a second time.

I found it so interesting that I don't think that I'd mind seeing him die again tomorrow.  And again the next day.

He'd be like G_d's personal yo-yo...

 :)

Sorry guys, just one dark corner in my sense if humor.

I often find people's response to issues of mortality to be amusing.

If one believes in everlasting life, what difference does "death", as we experience it, really make?  It's just a speed-bump that we know is there, and have been staring at as we walk up to it, but manage to trip over every time anyway.

I think that's funny.

How do omitting a letter that represent 33 1/3% of name show respect, inquire Dali Llama???  :?

No so much an omission as an understanding that mortal man is not a creature worthy to speak the name.

But since I have to put something in the sentence to give you a clue what I'm referring to...
