Yee Haa :-D
I just did the Mod to the Pawl in my SBH Bisley to make it free spin.
Saved myself $35.00 from havin' to buy a Power Custom's Pawl.
Used my Dremel and a Jeweler's file and it turned out great.
Didn't even remove it from the gun.
However next time I will remove it and only use file's, as it is to easy to screw up with th Dremel.
Took under 30 Min.

Glad you saved the bucks. When I had my action job done the gunsmith did this mod on mine. Gotta say that it such beats buying one. Mine has been going strong for over 2 years and still works like a charm.

Wonder if this will work on the new RVs?

My 'smith filed the corner of the pawl off till the cylinder just cleared it. The picture gives you an idea as to where and how much. On the first one he didn't quite take enough off first time; went back to get it on the second try. Second gun: got it first time. I always had the commerical pawl to fall back on if "we" :grin: messed up the factory ones.

Works as well as the store-bought ones.

Well, just did that to my .45 BH as well and darned if it don't work as advertised. I'l miss the cylinder click though.
