Hey y'all
I'm sort of shopping for a S&W model 29. My question is in what bbl lengths are they offered/available? The web site only mentions a 6.5 but I would like a 4" to 5.5" Thanks for your help, be safe.

4 inches to 8 3/8 inches are available. There have been a lot of configurations over the years. Check out the 629 also, it's stainless.

They've been made in a wide variety of barrel lengths. Just type in 29 or629 in the GunsAmerica search. Best advice I could give is to choose a tube legth that suits YOU and your style of hunting best? Shop around, many ranges will have shooters wiho may possibly let you try different tubes, models, styles? Shooters are usually very friendly, helpful, people.

Questor is right, they come in 4" barrel lengths.  If you aren't shopping for a stainless steel revolver you might be able to find some very good deals on slightly used blue steel guns.  HTH.  Mikey.
