OH FOR THE LOVE OF........Why the heck is it that every year grown people have to run around making jacka$$es of themselves by playing silly little child games!  jh45gun, dont feel too bad cuz there is a few internet "April fools" jokes running around.  Why cant people act their age and quick playing child games  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:

Um, I could be wrong, but based on his wording it sounds like he was suckered into the April fools joke too and was just relaying the information over here b/c he thought we would be interested.

Of course really, the Internet is FULL of April fools jokes every year.  I mean full of them. I rarely visit a site on April 1 that doesn't have SOME type of joke posted.  Just be on the lookout for them.  Take note of the date and don't take anything too major seriously unless it persists through the next day.  Anything non-controlable (ie, policy changes like the one mentioned here) isn't going to be announced on April 1st anyways, just because no one would believe it even if it were real.

Kinda Harsh arn't you? I posted in good faith What I thought was a legit post.  So if you think I am a Jackass so be it!  I guess I do not really need to post here with such BS attitudes here There are plenty other good Milsurp forums. I do not really care if this is YOUR april fools joke or not I really do not appreciate being called a Jackass.

Sorry i don't like APRIL FOOLS JOKES I lost my older brother 10 years ago about 12:05am on  April 1st. (aprils fools) and we thought it was a bad joke at first but then it became a reality this is why i'm not fond of april fools jokes.  I lost my fishing and hunting partner who has been with me all of my life.  My sons come with me now but it just isn't the same, but the torch must be passed.  I cherish the time we spent together and the laughs and fun we had but there all memories now.  I couldn't go hunting again for quite a few years after he passed on too. Its funny my camp still smells of his cigarette smoke too. Sorry if i can off to hard on you for your april fools joke.                                                 BigBill

Sorry about your brother!

The Problem is IT WAS NOT MY JOKE! I posted what amounted to Guisan at the Swiss forum stating the Swiss were going to abide by the UN disarmament and not import any more guns or ammo well it was a Joke but considering that the UN wants to disarm us all of small weapons I thought it was a legit posting so I posted it here. Then when I found out it was a joke I posted that here also. So I was the victim of this not the Perp. Jim

Maybe not as much of a joke as we think.
I have seen information on this type of EU
activity and UN activity concerning what they
call the "Proliferation of easily accessible weapons"
for a couple of years. If it was a joke I think it
war kinda' prophetic. This will happen.

S.Sumner; You raise a very good thought if the EU is against the people having guns in their countries then why are they sending them over here across the big pond to us?   This will make us never a part of the EU right?  Do you think in the end we will lose all of our guns so we can join and be part of the EU?                                                    BigBill

NEVER LOOSE my guns I do not care if they have to be cached and I cannot use them all the time no one is getting them. At least not if I can help it> I paid too much of my hard earned money and they give me too much enjoyment to see a bunch of Liberal SOB"s try to pass laws to take them expecially some foreign bunch of pukes.

Bill,
  Gun owners in America outnumber any standing army on earth.
If all the gun owners simply stood up and said "NO,
you can't have my guns", There would be nothing anyone could
do about it. Also, we have already fought one revolution
to get away from the crazy way those Europeans do things.
Another one would not be out of the question if our people
see that we are being influenced too badly by Europe again.
   My concern right now is the OPEC countries! we really need an
alternative fuel source so our lifes do not hinge on how much oil OPEC wants to produce/pump. I see our economy really hurting in a year or two
because of OPEC.
