Tune Trigger on 94AE

I've got a 94AE with a trigger pull that's a mile long.

When you finally take up the slack, a near king-fu grip is required to get to the break.

Doesn't really help when you're trying to put one exactly where it needs to go, know what I mean?  I can deal with the extra slack, but I really need to have fewer lbs pull to get to the break.

Any after market drop-in type triggers or recommended trigger mods/jobs that might help?  Know where a fellow can find DIY intructions?

I sure hope you get some answers to your question.  I have a Model 94 XTR with the same problem...the trigger must have a 10 lb. pull on it.  It's a beautiful rifle, but the lawyer-inspired trigger sure makes it hard to shoot accurately.  I have asked the same question on other forums regarding the Model 94 trigger and have never received any replies.  Sure wish there was an easy fix.

 I also polished where the bolt meets the locking bolt.

I love my .357 Trapper and am working on load data. These guns really do well by slugging the barrel and matching your bullets -IMO :wink:

Also, the long dead space before trigger contact is needed - do not try to change it.
