:D If I remember correctly, I picked mime up in 56-57.  Its been a great gun, I've killed a ton of rabbits and bushy tails with it.  It ain't too pretty today (too many days in the boat or under the seat of the pick-up) but she still shoots as well as ever.  They are not worth much, but its worth holding on to for a plinker or knock around gun.  Just take care of it and don't let it get all rusty and pitted like I did

Mine dates from the early 80s, 6 inch fixed sights. Its not a S+W or Single six, but its more accurate than it has a right to be considering I paid about $69 or $79 brand new. Trigger will build up finger muscles though. Its not reccomended, but on the advice of a "crazy old coot" I clipped a coil off the spring to lighten it back when I was a young pup. Never gave me a problem, but a new one may be tough to find nowdays. Shoot it and enjoy!
