I still like the fletching! Make'em go straight down the bore!
If the rifleing twist is the opposite direction, will it cause it to stop mid bore? It is a great idea, ya done good

I used a spare Dewey rod adapter the one you use to put a bore brush on.
I cut the field tip off flush the drilled it the size of the brush adapter. Then epoxied the whole thing to the rod. I hammered the adapter into the arrow shaft a little ways too...
I will need to find better looking handle material but it works I used it yesterday....

Very Cleverly done. I have several Wooden shafts, some with fletching, some without. A very wise and economical use for these old shafts.
