I haven't loaded any ballistic tips in the .270 yet, but I am planning on loading the 140 grn. Accubond in my wife's .270. I load the 150 grn. ballistic tip in my .308, it's a real killer, very accurate also. If I were loading for deer instead of varmints, I would lean toward the Accubond in the .270, the ballistic tip is very explosive!!! If you get into the shoulder, you can plan on doing a bunch of trimming with the ballistic tip. I plan to start loading either the Accubond or the Interbond in my .308 also. I haven't had any experience with the ballistic tip in the .270, I've loaded hundreds in the .308, to this date, haven't lost anything hit with it. We shoot a bunch of hogs, deer, coyotes, etc. The only drawback I can see with the Accubond is the price, develop a load and shoot varmints with the ballistic tips, hunt with the Accubonds. I feel they will shoot very close to the same POA. Have a nice weekend!!!
