New .30 mold

I just picked up a 130gr .30 mold today.  I am trying to get a lighter bullet for my 30.06 pistol.  Does anyone have any special loads using this light bullet?  Also, can I use straight WW?  I was planning on GChecking them, but don't know if the WW will take the velocity.  BTW,  I am planning on pushing this around 2200fps.

WW should do just fine. I have some cast bullets loaded up for my 22 hornet that I plan on pushing out at a velocity of 2700-2800. I will see what they chronograph.

2200 should not be a problem with the bullet properly sized and lubed. I would go for a hardness of around 18-22 BHN.

straight WW has a hardness of about 9,Lyman #2 alloy is about 15(bhn)
 I know ww can be pushed fairly fast,but you might want to try lyman #2.
  I don't know what you are going to use the 130 grain 30 cal bullets for. I used the 311410 in the 30-30 T/C 14" for ground hog. It did not work as well in my 308 lone eagle.The 311466 & 311291 both worked better. I also had good luck with the lee 150 grain mold.
Lyman #2 can be made from 9 pounds of ww and 1 pound of 50/50 bar solder or 4pounds linotype, 1 pound 50/50 solder and 5 pounds of pure lead.

Water drop your wheelweight bullets (should be hot enough to chirp when they hit the water) and use good lube. If they fit the throat they should work fine. If not, they can be heat treated in the oven but it's not needed if they work just quenched.

Try adding a few ounces of lead shot to the wheel weights for the arsenic in the shot. It makes the bullets harden better when water dropped. Shouldn't have any trouble getting 2200 with a 130 grain bullet.
