45/90 - new chamber

I have just got back my Repro 1866 Sharps. I had it rechambered to 45/90.
Question - Should I treat this as a new barrel and shoot some jacketed to smooth out the new chamber or just go ahead and start my cast shooting.

Bullets won't do anything to the chamber. As long as the new throat is smooth, shoot 'em up.

I had a Browning 1885 High Wall in 45/70 rechambered to 45/90. It changed the load I was using a little bit but once I twiked it, it shoots just as good as the 45/70 if not a little better.
I did not do anything to it but start shooting.

I would have to say, just shoot it.

Once again - Thank you for yor replies.
I also thought just to go ahead and shoot it with cast and not worry about the rechamber. But I am realitively new to Rechambering and cast bullets for rifles.
Different ball game from pistols!
