Wisconsin ccw poster child

I know that Wisconisn ccw advocates have been looking for a poster child to test the constitutionality of the no ccw law in light of our RTKABA ammendment to the wisconsin constitution. Sounds like we may have found him. Check out this story:

http://www.jsonline.com/news/metro/apr05/315458.asp

Basics are a 64 year old Arkansas man was attached by 4 hoods looking for $$. He shot one of them and probably saved his life by pulling his 44 cal gun from under his front seat.

HE gets arrested.

Also as an update, Paul Bucher, the Waukesha county DA has come out in favor of ccw possibly in the wake of the church shooting in Brookfield.

Things may be looking up!!!

WI will have CC its just a matter of When. The Gov made alot of enemies when he vetoed the bill and the politicians know it.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Hey jh, talk about making enemies. Remember the state quarter fiasco?
That's where he made some enemies. Cheese wedge and a cow...

In all seriousness Mr. Bucher runs a pretty tight ship. I wouldn't mind seeing him take State Att. General Peg Goldschlager's job.
For those from out of state, the Glodsclager reference comes from our Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager getting busted for DUI in a state owned vehicle on her way home from "work". There are more details involved but....

Nixter, I do not know  of the guy but he has to be a better choice then Peg L. If he backs CC I am all for him!    Now I have heard that some folks say she is a good attorney but I wonder? She was too dang eager to take on the Vang Case and whats with that no hair deal. I mean come on I know she has cancer but dang with her finances I would think a wig would not be out of the question. She looked like a ugly cue ball on the TV during the Vang TV Clips. I think she is using the Vang thing to get recognition and I suppose if she wins that case which should be a no brainer I would think maybe then she feels folks would forget about the DUI case. Thats what makes me wonder about her judgement any one in her position should have never allowed themselves to get a DUI she should have known better. Since she is a liberal I am not broken hearted that she did but I sure as heck hope she does not screw up the Vang case if she does the whole state will be in a uproar. Jim
