Well, I got me a barrel last week, but the only scope I could find at Bass Pro was a Simmons 4x32. Itching to shoot so I bought it. Today, mounted it, bore site and then off to the range. Shooting handloads I had made yesterday, and some I had for my rifle.
Got there, and at 50 yards the bullet was in the bullseye (bore site). Needless to say that after a few fine tunes, I was able to get about 1.24" at 50 yards. Now I know this is not the best, but I was just trying to get use to the gun and such. I was very impressed, and now I'm on the web looking for another scope, 2x7x32 or something close, and I'm about to load up some more ammo.
I'M HOOKED! Can't wait to get back out there next week. Even thought of going to deer lease and trying to find a porker or two.....
Bob
