When bucks shed their antlers in N. Texas

I saw a buck with antlers March 18 in North Central Texas.  I thought they had done this months ago.

3-13-05i saw a muley buck with a 2x2 rack,he was with anotherdeer that was probaly a buck also.the latest i ever seen a deer with antlers was on easter day.it also was a muley buck,but only had one antler with 2 points

Latest I'd ever seen a buck with antlers here in Southern Md (was actually two bucks,both with antlers!) was March 17.Until yesterday.Saw (and almost hit) a forkhorn.Dave

Well, it doesn't answer your question about north TX, but on Easter weekend almost all the bucks near San Antonio had their horns. We saw one that had shed both sides.  I expect you are near a month earlier dropping in N. TX.
