John Garrett and Jane White
« on: February 05, 2005, 01:15:50 AM »
After looking for 12 years I finally found them on the 1870 Etowah County, Alabama Census living in the household of L M Garrrison in the Attalla District. John born 1835 in Georgia. He was a Lumberman and Jane born 1845 in Georgia. She was keeping house.

On the 1880 Etowah County, Alabama Census they were in Hokes Bluff with their children: William, Twins Elisha & Elijah, Frannie, and Charles.

After 1880 they had two more children. My great-grandmother Mattie Virginia & Jane.

I haven't been able to find anything else but since it took me 12 years to find this much I will keep on looking for more.
