Lead wire for swaging?
« on: December 19, 2002, 12:53:06 AM »
:D Harpy,

You can get lead wire in different diameter from Dave Corbin at: www.corbins.com or Richard Corbin at: www.rceco.com but I now get mine through Star Ammunition at: www.411web.com/S/STARAMUNITION/ cannot beat the price.

Something like $40 for 60 lbs of pure lead wire dia of .365 inch, comes on a wood spool that you ship back to them when you buy more, the deposit on the spool is refundable. The shipping was a killer about $35 but it still cost less then what Dave or Richard sells it for.

They also sell handgun jackets for about 4 cents each compared to most others costing around 9 cents each. My 45 caliber jacket I got from Star Ammunition looked just like what I have gotten from Dave Corbin but at less cost.
