Valmet Double Rifle "Target" Pictures
« on: April 14, 2005, 05:37:34 PM »
Guys,

I've talked about Valmet 412 combi's here quite a bit.  As most of you probable already know, Valmet also made double rifle bbl. sets that would fit on the same 412 combi action.

I found a bunch of targets today from when i was working up loads for some doubles, and also regulateing the bbls.  I thought maybe some of you would enjoy seeing just how well these doubles shot!!!!

Keep in mind, it's very easy for an experenced person to regulate these sets to shoot "exactly" together!!!!

In the case of my "expermental" 7x65R set, i was working up loads, NOT regulateing the bbls!!  All regulateing is done "after" settling on a load to use.

BTW, i did "smuge" out some of the writeing on the picts., (targets) but i "didn't" change any of the group sizes ect..

  Hope you enjoy the picts..,

Drilling...

Wow, I was looking at the Valmet/Tikka combo guns but decided on a new Baikal, due to price.

If you want to donate any of your combos to a loving home please feel free to send them to me....  :-D
