Changing barrels
« on: April 20, 2005, 11:29:40 AM »
I wonder if someone could help me. I am going to by a 20 gauge slug barrel for my mossberg............and will be using  a scope......................I am assuming once I take the barrel off in December and put the other one back on for doves and quail........when I put it back on I will not have to sight it in again since the scope will stay attached to the barrel.

Thanks Guys.

nealglen37,

Your assumption would be correct, that is if you are talking about a cantilever scope mount barrel and nothing bumps your scope off in the meantime. I have a 9200 with the cantilever scope mount barrel, always on the money. I always shoot it just to make sure though.
