Question about wood 209x50 stocks cracking

Have any of you with 209xi50'sa had experiences with wood bitstocks splitting?  Any loading tips to avoid this?

I have not seen it on my Encore M/L or any other barrel for that matter.

Seems like this came up awhile back. If I remember right, some claimed it was caused by loading it with the butt on the ground while ramming the projectile down. I have no experience with this, just going from memory.   KN
