OT - Stoeger P350 Shotgun
« on: April 21, 2005, 09:47:41 AM »
I realize this belongs elsewhere, but I know how this bunch loves a good bargain.  I saw a Stoeger P350 at the gun shop today.  At first glance, it could pass for a Nova.  I picked it up and shucked it.  If they're all like this, Mossberg and Remington better start looking for a replacement for their pump business.  This thing is as smooth as glass and the lockup is tighter than anything I've ever owned.  There's no rattle or play at all in the slide (unlike my Nova).  It only weighs about 7 lbs, it handles 3 1/2" shells (not with me behind it), and it comes with 5 chokes, from skeet to extra-full.  $239.  Bought it on the spot.  I found out later you can get a screw in mercury tube for it.  I'll let you know how it shoots as soon as I can.  Check one out when you get a chance.
Whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger.  Right up until it kills you.
