I just picked up and old Lyman Spar-T turret press that needs a wee bit of tlc and a handle.
I plan(ed) on making a handle but the press I have has the hole in a strange place. The phots I've found of the press online and in my Lyman cast bullet book are different.
I may have a very old one,,HAHA.
Anyone have any info on these presses?

I've used a Spar-T for more than 30 years -- what exactly are your questions?

Well I figured out that the part the handle screws into was on backwards so I fixxed that. I made a new handle to replace the missing one and cleaned and lubed it and its looks good.
So the shell holder is held in by set screw?

Yes, the shellholder is held by the set scew. I keep a proper sized allen wrench in the same box with my shellholders.

Once I get it set up on the bench I'll give it a try and let you know how it works.
