I just looked at one of these today at Jay's. $388 and now that I have seen the New Vaquaro, this seems to fit the same niche. I can't find any real info on the Taurus website, but the cylinder appears to be ever so slightly larger than a colt so it's more in the New Vaquaro or U.S. Firearms range. I liked the action, it is transfer bar and it does have a half cock (which the new Ruger still does not have.) to load and unload. I'm quite impressed with it. It seems to be a nicely finished, quality piece comparable to the Stampede or new Vaquero. I would buy one of these (and I probably will soon) before I would a Uberti at the same price. 44 Man
