Bullpup varminter?
« on: April 20, 2005, 06:10:50 PM »
Hey i was wonderin if any of yall knew of anyone making a bullpup style varmint rifle.  its probably a long shot, but i might as well ask.  bushmaster makes the m17s bullpup, but its not quite a "varmint" class gun.  Im sure you could make modifications to most guns to get certain accuracy out of them.  Any bullpups out there with extended range (over 300yds)?

Well....Steyr AUG...and....that's about as bullpup and varmint as you are going to get.  I use my Bushmaster Carbine for close in varminting (300 yards on coyotes) when I leave my Swift at home, so I guess that could be described somewhat as a varmint rifle.  Other than that, I think some of your Remington and TC hand guns would be the answer.  Hope this helps.
