New Springfield.

Well, today I picked up a new springfield. One I have had my eyes on for a little while now.

I ended up getting this one.

http://www.springfield-armory.com/images/pistols/PC9105LLarge.jpg

Its the, TRP Light Rail Armory Kote.

I own a TRP and I also own a Operator. But, this is kinda a bread of them both. So, it will go great with my Springfields. I have to say this handgun comes with some great options.

It comes with 2 slam pad mags., beveled mag. well, ajust night sights, front and rear checker strap, a really cool pair of stone like hand grips, hugh bull bll",a 3 pound trigger pull and a "AMBO" safety. And, the rail mount.

Its funny, I had a guy when I was picking it up compare it to his Kimber TLE/RL. I laughed, I also own the Kimber TLE/RL. And it would not hold a candle to this TRP. The only thing they have in comon is a rail mount.

Infact not to be bold, but, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better built 1911 on the market today.

Got a good deal on it too. 1250.00 out the door.

I wish I liked 1911's, there are a lot of choices............but I carried one in Germany as an MP and never did like them..............I love my KP90D and KP95D though!

Thank you redhawk1.

I have to stop with the gun buying. My wife is going to kill me.

I have been getting a little crazy with the 1911s. But Im hooked. Im on my way to a fully house of Springfield full size. I do not own any micro or ultra compacts. Not that I do not like them, they just dont feel good in my hands. If they did I would have one for sure. I have been CCWing my 1911s a little more. It is getting a little warm here, so, I have went back to my little .38 2" inch bll. But, that will get old soon and I'll be back to the 1911s.

I have the laser/light combo as seen in the picture. I am also having a custom arm sling made for it with laser mounted. Not that I need the laser/light, but, it will be fun in midnight shoots while looking for coons and possum this season.

I would tell any one to get this handgun that was looking for a good 1911. It is a bit pricey. But, it was worth the a$$ chewing I got from the wife.
