How much are these Chinese guns alike?
« on: April 24, 2005, 08:04:06 AM »
Ok I have found that the Gun I have is evidently a 20 dollar special B3-2. I also see several different Chinese models that are almost identical except for price and some cosmetic differences. So what is the real difference say between like my gun and say a Tech force 34 ect.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

jh45gun,

The safety issue on the Cummins you already know about.  The Tech Force 34 is made by Shanghai Air Gun Factory and is a much better rifle made of better parts and material, also it has a safety.  BAM Industries also makes one like it but it too i amde of better material and it too has a safety.  The main difference is the material they are made from.  Lawdog

I Do not doubt you lawdog,  though I got this off the crosman forum. "The $20 B3-2 and the Tech Force 34 are the same rifle with cosmetic differences. So you pay extra for a different stock or a cheesy safety." I wonder where the Cummins are made at?

I am sorry but those poeple don't know what they are talking about.  The B3-2 and the Tech Force 34 are made by different companies.  You know some on the Crosman Forum think that BAM Industries and Shanghai Air Gun Factory are one and the same.  WRONG.  Although both are made in China they are located in different cities and under different ownership.  Don't believe everything you read on the Crosman Forum.  I found that forum to be very bias.  Lawdog

Thanks for the info I did find some interesting things on the Chinese air gun forum though. I did notice that about the crosman forum it seems like if you do not hotrod air guns you are not in their circle.
