Contender Frames, old vs new
« on: April 26, 2005, 09:45:37 PM »
Quick question.  When did T/C start using a transfer bar on their Contender frames?  My frame, which has the firing pin selector on the top of the hammer, seems to be different than the last frame I owned.  I recently had one of the frames that required a screwdriver to select the firing pin, and I don't remember its internals being as complicated as my new frame.

The newer frame seems to be a little trickier to do a trigger job on, as there are a lot more compnents.  Am I remembering correctly, or did the earlier frames not have all the same parts?
