So far so good. Got about 2000 pellets through it so far. Installed a scope stop, that solved the scope sliding problem. This is my first experience with a mag springer gun and it has taken me a while to get the hang of it. But overall I find the gun to be as accurate as I am! Seems to shoot the cheap pellets better than the pricey ones. It does, sometimes, have the annoying problem of shifting point of impact on me from one shooting session to another. It groups well but it may have as much as 3 in difference in point of impact. All screws are tight, scope is tight etc. Kind of annoying, since it doesn't happen everytime. Also, at what point does the piston and chamber need to be cleaned and lubed? And, are there any after market parts available, such as a seal kit, spring upgrade and better trigger. Anyone have plans for a simple spring compressor for disassembly? Sorry for the long post! catch ya'll later!

This leads to questions. What type of scope do you have on your rifle? Is it an air rifle approved? What make and type of mounts are you using? The wrong scope will change oin a "springer" rifle. In fact the rifle can actualy break the scope if it isn't air rifle approved. Cheap mounts can also allow the point of aim to change too. Lawdog

Yup...I agree, does in fact raise some questions! The scope is the one that came with the rifle, a Daisy 3-9x32.. cheap scope and mounts, which I changed to an old set of Simmons I had laying around. Better but not the best. I know the scope and mounts are probably the culprits when all is said and done. I just dont want to drop a bunch of money into a plinker. So I guess I'll have to put up with it. But when I shot a lil today, it was right on the money.. so who knows! Its a finiky rifle for sure. Any ideas as to a better trigger besides polishing this one out a lil?

What about the scope mounts? The scope seems ok.. seems to adjust accurately but I may need to get a set of solid mounts for the dovetail groove. I think I saw a set for sale at Fun Supply. Wonder if those are any good?

Go to http://bkltech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=BKL&Category_Code=SMP and see the different mouts for air rifles at BKL. I wouldn't use anything of lesser quality. Forget B-Square and the other "cheapos" out there. Lawdog

Tried some of the Crow Magnums today. Pretty good! 3/8 to 1/2 in. groups at 25 yds. Very consistant hard shooting pellet! You can tell the difference when they hit my steel swinging plate target! Also got an RWS sampler pack.. seems to be mostly light pellets.. we'll see how they do. Scope and point of aim seem to have settled in considerably during the last 2 shooting sessions. Keeps getting better and better!

Hey, I'm new to the whole pellet rifle thing, I just bought my powerline 1000s 2 days ago, and spent a few hours trying to aim the scope. Does anyone know a quick way to tune? Is there a default setting that I can start back at? I had it close one time, but it was shooting a few inches from the target. Then I adjusted the vertical wheel down some more, and my next shot was off to the left and a little closer. This has been my problem all day. I was wondering if I should get a new scope (currently using included scope). I'm lost, I've never done this and would appreciate any help.

Mine was a pain at first also. I sighted it in at about 10 yds to begin with. This gun seems pretty picky to me and it took me a while to learn to shoot it well. I've got about 2500 pellets thru it now and its shooting better than ever. At first I was chasing that scope around like crazy trying to sight it in. Shoot 5 shot groups before making any changes. Did you install a scope stop yet? Yur gonna need one! Keep all the mounts and screws tight, install the scope stop and keep on shooting! What pellets are you using??
