Sellier & Bellot Ammo
« on: July 05, 2005, 01:22:20 PM »
Anyone have experience with this brand of ammo, specifically .357, 158 grain Soft Point for deer hunting.  The ballistics sound pretty hot and they are very cheap.  Thanks :D ......Van

I have never used the soft point, but have shot a lot of the 158 gr. FMJ at the range. I have personally never had a problem with that ammo in a S&W Mod. 65 and a Ruger GP100. I have heard of hard primers causing fail to fire, but have never experienced it myself.
