My new knife
« on: May 01, 2005, 08:50:05 AM »
So I went hunting (deer) for the first time last season and I bought a Kershaw Leek because all my pocket knives are the multi-tool variety.  I liked it quite a lot, but it was a pain cleaning after gutting with it.

So for my birthday I just got a Kershaw Majesty... not because I have a Kershaw fetish, but I really wanted a short fixed blade knife.  I was looking hard at the Buck Zipper, but it just seemed a little to big to be maneuverable inside the body cavity.  Anyway... the Majesty looks just about right... it's got a 3 1/4 inch blade, gut hook, rosewood handle, $45 if you look around.

Oddly attractive lines.  Not as snazzy as some of your all's customs... but I think it's just what I wanted.

Nothin' wrong with Kershaw knives.  That one looks like it'll do the job just fine.
