New Ruger Bisley Grips arrived...unbelievable
« on: April 16, 2005, 07:03:26 PM »
I have no affiliation with the company that made the grips that arrived at my house today.  They are the most beautiful stocks/grips I have ever seen!  So  good in fact, I almost don't want to use them (NOT).  Cocobolo (red) with outstanding figure in the wood itself.  Absolute perfection!  They are at the following website:  www.woodgrips.com.  I also got the Belt mountain base pin.  Another good company to deal with.  I wish I could figure out how to post a picture and show everyone!  You have got to check them out!

Web page was a little slow. Might be my ISP though. But I have to say every nice grips!   Makes me want to put my wood pair back on my Blackhawk. I went with a set of rubber grips on mine to improve my shooting. Almost for got how good it looks with them on there till now. Thanks alot.  :-D

O, BTW. Thanks for the link. I found a few pair of nice 1911 grips I will be spending my money on.

                    Thanks.

Nothing like a nice set of brips on a Ruger SA.  Just wish that link would work for me.  :(   Zap your pic of them this way and I'll try to post them up for you.

Man, those are some good looking grips.  I have been trending lately to buying Ebony or dark blackish grips for my stainless guns.  It was news to me that the stainless Bisley is slightly larger than the blued frame.

I just got a pair of grips for one of my Blackhawks from Woodgrips.com.  Awesome is an understatement!  They are checkered (flawlessly) Rosewood (cocoabola?) with great figure to the wood.  I can't believe they didn't cost 3X as much.
