set trigger wont set??

i got a pard who has an iab sharps and the other day we were shooting and when he got ready he tried to pull the set trigger and it wouldnt pull
what could be the problem??

Is he using the right set trigger? Sometimes it's the front one and other times it's the rear one!

I haven't ever seen a set trigger setup where the front one set the trigger. It's always the rear one sets it, and the front one trips the hammer.
 If it wont set, then back the adjusting screw off one turn, and try it. Repaet a couple more times, and if it still wont set with the rear trigger, and drop with the front, it needs work.
