Last Sunday my lovely wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We renewed our vows right after church services were over. Our pastor and another brother sidetracked me to another room for prayer, which is not unusual. When we came out Tony told me to go to the back and be ready to come down the opposite aisle' as my wife walked down her aisle. I was looking to my left, watching my wife as the piano played. A lady sitting on the aisle patted me on the shoulder, I smiled and patted her back. She said, that piano player is really good, then asked if I liked the piano player. I looked up and saw that the piano player was my 79 year old MOTHER from ILL. I was in shock. Do I stay with the program and walk down the aisle with my wife??? Or do I run down and hug my Mother? I completed the ceremony, then hugged my Mom. I didn't expect any of my family to be there. What a wonderful surprise. My sister drove her down just for the ceremony. It was Moms idea to go to the piano, she's played in church as long as I can remember. I just wanted to share that with you guys. POWDERMAN.

That's wonderful Powderman. Happy 25th. I'm sure it was a great mother's day for your mom. My 21st is next Friday, yep friday the 13th. :lol:

Your lucky Mom is still with you and it sounds like she is doing well if she can still play! Jim

powderman - congradulations to you and your wife on your 25th anniversary. That certainly is a milestone, one not reached by many married couples. 25 years together takes a lot of work. Here's hoping for 25 more years of happiness to you both. Mikey.
