Spoke with Gary Reeder this morning and he says a New cartridge an Extended version of the 454 casull is on the way.
Should be a nice compromise between the 454 and the 500 S&W.

I don't think that this new longer version will ever become as popular as the 454 Casull. In fact, I think that this round would become a flop. :roll:

said the same about the 454 and 480. NOTHING could be better than the tried and true 44mag.

These companies do lots of research and get lots of customer opinion before shelling out the MILLIONS to design a new gun or a new round.
Their is ALREADY a market for it
