Things to look for to find wolves
« on: April 29, 2005, 08:37:30 AM »
In the past we looked for Ravens and Eagles to lead us to feeding wolves.  Now we have learned to also look for Gorden Haber's airplane.  Just follow his movements and when he circles an area, there's the wolves.  Wonder if his bosses at Friends Of Animals have figured this out yet?  Don't tell them, let's see how long it will last.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

that's good!  Poor guy, his favorite study animals got turned into parka ruffs and he's trying to make a federal case out of it. I think he's lost a lot of credibility with real biologists.  I suppose his fuss will bring in $$ for him.

In early April flying between Dillingham and Iliamna we saw a wolf on each leg of the trip, 3 days apart.  Some Iliamna pilots have been telling me there are plenty of wolves in the area.  This is the first time in 15 years I've seen any on this type of  regular point to point flight.  I'm inclined to think there must be a few if I see them on this type of flight, mid day.

Has the state filed charges of harassing wildlife against him for chasing wolves with an airplane?
