Tim,

I'm assuming those are Gunstock Inc.  I wonder if there is a reason the factory wood stock is used for the pattern instead of the synthetic?  I like the pistol grip on the synthetic!

That's some very nice wood, you did good!

Paul, if you compare the H&R stock to this custom, the rear of the comb is much higher.....Gunstocks Inc doesn't do checkering.

quick,  I was looking at them on eBay too.  They caught my eye right away,... very, very nice indeed!!  That's a great deal with all the extras.  Very nice checkering too.  I couldn't even think about trying to get them tho'.  I, just this evening, finished my laminated set from Gunstocks and put them on my 12ga.

Thanks everyone!    I thought I might get em Saturday, the seller was going to send them UPS with a delivery date of Monday, but at the last minute he decided to send them by priority mail.....but the address I gave him was for UPS only and I told him that when I paypaled the money to him, but he didn't read my note to him and just sent it to my street address which doesn't get street delivery since I have had a PO box for almost 30 yrs. I called the manager at the local PO and asked em to forward it to my PO box when it comes in Saturday, so I won't get it until Monday at the earliest anyway......sheesh!!!! At least it won't be returned and have a chance to get damaged or lost with all the handling.

PERTTY wood, sounds like you live in a small town, tried that once in the city & got a no can do response. Good buy. Acidentily put my son's BD card out with the mail to be picked up no info on it but his name & his present. Call the Post Office after hours & had it returned to me the next day. Small towns are nice that way:grin:

OH 45-70,  Vancouver is no small town, last population figure I've seen was 149,000 in 2003, we have 12 zip codes and the home building that's going on is unbelievable, Clark County was one of the top 20 fastest growing counties in the US not too long ago, I'm sorry to say. We have excellent Postal Service here but being retired from the PO here after 32yrs does have it's merit!

Deadeye, I'm probably going to put it on either the extra 25-06 Handi if I don't sell it or on the .280 rem, I think it wil look better on a rifle with the 26" barrel. If I put it on the 45-120 BC, it wouldn't be a BC any more, but it's worth considering!!
