Federal Fusion ammo

Anyone interested in the new Federal Fusion ammo, OMC has it in 30-30 for $10 a box or .308 Win and .30-06 for $13 a box...shipping is a bit high at $11.53 for 3 box of ammo, though.....They are located in Salem, Oregon if anyone is close to em.

Nice price, shipping way to high. They should give you the option of USPS Parcel Post. I would think maybe $5.00 shipping at the most. Jack.

Considering they're only 70 miles south of me, they shouldn't need almost $12 to ship it.....By federal law, ammo, powder and primers can't be shipped thru the mail, UPS ground is how most of if is shipped.

Hazmat shipping has been all about insurance cost to the carrier...and now...with fuel cost soaring...that is figured in as well...

Assembled cartridges are not hazmat, they are ORM-D, same as a can of shaving cream, can't be shipped on an airplane but can be shipped UPS ground with "ORM-D CARTRIDGES" on at least three sides of the box.

That's what I've been told...but you know...I've dealt with some pretty crappy buisnesses before that will try to stick ya when ever they can...and for that much shipping...that's what it seems like they are doing...I guess they will make their money where ever they can :cry:

That's because Federal hasn't updated their web site yet...and the supply for this ammo is limited...

does anybody know if they make that fusion ammo in 223? :?

Nope...243 is the smallest...and...beleive it or not...these are Hunting bullets...they are a  brand new type  of a bonded bullet...and they are so new...that Federal hasn't listed them yet on their own web site...and they are in limited supply...you can click on the web site Quickdtoo has posted above to order on line...or ask your store to order them in with their ammo orders...
