I was wondering if coyotes will howl to a owl hoot call?

Coyotes will howl at all kinds of noises but to say that they would howl at the owls hoot would be a stretch, but if I was a betting man I would give it a try.

Welcome to GBO and good luck finding out if they do howl at the Owls Hoot.

I have heard that the yotes will howl like the dickens to an Elk bugle. Course it helps if your state has Elk

We have a fair amount of Great Horned Owls around here. I usually end up calling in some big ones every year. Cant say that I have ever heard a yote howl at their hooting but they do howl at the train horns in the country north of me.

WHEN I LOCATE YOTES I JUST USE A COYOTE HOWLER AND ITS LIKE MAGIC OR IT SOUNDS LIKE MUSIC CHIMMING UP ALL AROUND AND GIVES SOME CHILLS UP THE BACK
THEY COST 9- 35 DOLLARS DEPENDING ON THE BRAND I HAVE TWO DIFFERNT KINDS CLOSED REEDS AND OPENED REEDS.
