I have recently ordered a G-2, it will be in my hands soon.

My 2 Encores have both required me to do the triggers and they turned out very nice.  Is there information on tuning the G-2 available?

Just curious,
I am debating on either the G2 or Encore, what reasons
made you choose the G@ over the Encore ?

G2 triggers are the same as the Encore they use the same type springs.  I was able to flex the spring a little in mine to lighten the pull.

I did not choose one over the other.   I have two encores...one is a 50 cal. muzzle loader in stainless steel, and the other is a blue handgun with a 50 cal muzzle loader barrel and a 25-06 15 inch barrel.

The G-2 is for smaller calibers to be used in silly wet shooting, I am in the process buying a 10 inch 357 maximum barrel (form GB classifieds)for it and will likely get a 30-30 or a 30 herrit soon as well.  

Both guns will suit a different purpose.  Just like a hammer you have light weight and heavy.

I just polished and tweaked a G2 trigger. It is the same as the encore just as pigboy said. It came out real nice just under 2 lbs.

One advantage of the G2 over the Encore would be the ability to easily shoot rimfire cartridges. The drawback is the lower pressure limitation.
