I'd like to get .308 survivor and put a red dot on it.What do you guys think of the trijicon OEG red dots? Or leupold red dots? Thanks.

It depends on what you want the sight for ie: day use only. The OEG sight is for day use only. Leupold's dot sights seem to be a bust. I have a Trijicon Reflex sight on my S&W .44 mag and I like it.

Are you sure its day use only? Trijicon's website says that they have tritium in them for nightime use, although it's not a dig deal as I probably won't us it at night anyway.

Truglo is making a 2x reddot now and it's only about $70.
